Long Gone
I would just like to mention a few of the things that have been in my life that I have missed but have moved on with recently (a couple I still miss) or that I never had but it's kinda late now.
- Tanner- The poor kid has been grounded all summer. I miss that boy! He has basically disappeared from my life.
- My iPod- Oh the joy that little device brought into my life while mowing the lawn and staying up late was amazing! But I haven't seen it since trek and I've looked hard a few times and no luck.
- 16th B-day Bash- Why didn't I throw one of these? There was a lot of confusion during this time and lots of people were gone but oh well.
- Chicken Enchiladas- This one is just cuz I can smell them cooking in the kitchen. Mmm mmm good.
- Money- That's why I've been applying for jobs. We'll see if I get any of them
That's all I can think of right now but keep checking in case I think of more.

Random Facts (and Recent Stuff)
Well this post will be just some random little facts, laws and some stuff that has recently happened to me.
- 1 in 3 Caucasians get skin cancer in their life time
- If you feed hens certain dyes they can lay eggs with different colors of yolks
- Women blink nearly twice as much as men.
- I got a 5 on the AP Test for AP Euro
- When the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers play football at home to a sellout crowd, the stadium becomes the state's third largest city.
- An albatross can sleep while it flies
- In Baltimore, Maryland, it is not legal to take a lion to the movies.
- I got my drivers license almost a week ago
- It's illegal to fish from horseback in Utah
- The entire Encyclopedia Britannica is banned from Texas
- In Nevada, it's illegal to drive a camel on the highway
- In Alaska, it is considered an offense to push a live moose out of a moving airplane
- A fine of $25 can be levied for flirting in New York
- Also in New York, it is illegal to throw a ball at someone's head for fun
- Once again New York, the penalty for jumping off a building is death
- You cannot sing in the bathtub if you live in Pennsylvania
- In Alabama, you can't drive barefoot, play dominoes on Sunday, or flick boogers into the wind.
- You can hang someone in Nevada if they shoot your dog on your property
- In Wyoming, women can't stand within 5 feet of the bar when drinking
- In Minnesota, it is illegal to sleep naked, cross state lines with a duck on your head, drive a motorcycle without a shirt on, or have a bathtub w/o feet
- Finally, it is illegal for a girl to do her own hair w/o being licensed by the state, in Oklahoma.
K so this one ended up basically being dumb laws that some states have with a couple other things on the side but that doesn't matter too much.

Journals
K so for my mutual tonight we were supposed to start writing in our journals for 3 months if we haven't been. Well this gave me an opportunity to look through my 7th grade journal and 8th/9th grade journal. I realized that I have really changed a lot over the last 4 years. My friends haven't really changed too much but I was really weird in Jr. High. Most of you know I have absolutely no artistic talent but for some reason I had a thing with drawing pictures in my journal and they're really good for me. Most of my entries have some connection to somebody I don't ever even talk to and never really did. I can't believe how big of an idiot I was in Jr. High but I have gotten past that. It's really interesting to see how much I've changed and how much I can actually remember about these events I recorded.

Party Time!
The end of the school year is a glorious thing and with that wonderful thing comes parties! Not only do I have end of the school year parties but I have bunches of friends that have birthdays right after the school year ends! Well I guess I've only been to 3 since summer started but still thats not TOO shabby.
RECAPS:
Fiesta numero uno: Go away party for Connor Hinckley :'( Funny guy and he will be remembered. He's stuck in Wyoming right now though but he will get to Texas soon enough. Plus, he's visiting Tuesday! Fun except for I left the party rather pissed for undisclosed reasons.
Fiesta numero dos: Well technically this was a BBQ but I really don't care. So there! Sloan planned this I think and I just went and took pictures of hot dogs, watched my girlfriend fall in the river(after I told her not to try to cross the log... I told her she would fall in), and wrote secret messages in the volleyball court sand. Basically this was pretty fun.
Fiesta numero tres: Party for Austin Shin. Austin Shin- hilarious Korean who has been going to Davis and headed back to Korea on Tuesday morning. This was another go away party :'( But on the bright side, I saw a bunch of my Davis friends and was able to recover long lost phone numbers. The only problem with this party is that I had to relive the horrors of a few people who drove me nuts in junior high. Of course, I have to put up with Creager a lot more than that so I shouldn't complain because he is worse than they are.
Well parties are fun. Invite me to yours if you have one. Oh and I got invited to the goodbye party of the German kid, Tobi. Don't think I'm going though because I haven't said a word to the kid all year. I guess I could be a party crasher or just go get some free food but I'm not a big enough loser to do that. I have my own friends to hang out with... Lets just hope that I'm not the only one that didn't know Tobi. (I knew who he was but nothing about him)

DA SUMMER
Summer time has finally arrived and you all know what that means? Well I am currently coming up with a list in my head that will be posted on here in like 2 minutes.
DA SUMMER ACTIVITIES
1. School (lack there of)- the thing that has controlled most of our lives for the last 9 months is gone for almost 3 months! We are free to party!
2. 16th Birthday- For me this means being allowed to officially date... Oops on the Christmas Dance. Driving... that has to wait til September for me :'(
3. Bear Lake- Oh the joys of my cabin paradise. I love going up there and just relaxing. Hanging with the fam and going wakeboarding (even though I pretty much suck) is a blast!
4. Friends- K so I hung out with them a lot during the school year but now it will be like that times 10!
5. Work- Until I get a job it will probably be unpaid and around my house, but hopefully I can get a job ASAP after trek
6. Trek- Should be a wonderful experience but the downside is that it is over my birthday.
7. Baby Info- For all of you that didn't know this, my sister Shay is having twins in (most likely) November. Also high on the list... finding out whether they will be my nieces, nephews, or one of each. Info will come on my birthday! But I won't find out til the 28th
8. Sleep- Wonderful thing! I've already got a good start on this, I've slept in past 11 everyday of the summer. So far the record is 12:35 and hopefully it goes later. Oh and staying up WAY late!
9. Calciatore- Though earlier reports showed otherwise, my old soccer team is going to stay together. I loved playing with Josh and his team but I've been playing on this other team since about 3rd grade so it will be nice going back.
Fine list right? Well it will be fun seeing how many of you can pronounce #9. I would like to get feedback though.

Weekends Have Not Been My Thing
So last weekend I didn't have a great weekend. It started with the AP Test (thank goodness thats over!), then Saturday wasn't bad until I found out that one kid on my soccer team bruised his spleen and another kid dislocated his shoulder, followed by masses of drama that went throughout the day on Sunday. This weekend was pretty fun except the fact that yesterday I busted my phone, was kinda depressed, and hurt my manhood wakeboarding. Now today all I've done is mowed my lawn and played in a soccer game that we lost in. I scored our only goal and had another goal that went in but the ref said it didn't and we lost 2-1! Now I'm at home and I think that my parents are rather frustrated with me and I don't think that I'm going to be allowed to hang out with people tonight because of that.

AP Euro is Over! (well basically)
Today I took the AP European History Exam. It was long, mentally draining, and sucked. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience though. Who am I kidding? I didn't like being shut up in a church taking a test from 11:30-3:30. The best part about taking this test though is that the rest of the year in that class should be a breeze. I just better pass to make sure that I get a good grade this term. (Oh and college credit would be nice) Well anyway, the test is over and I think I did pretty good on it. Now I just have to wait til the 3rd freakin week of July to find out!

Frustrations
So I've been frustrated with several things lately. First on the list is the AP Euro Test, of course, but there are still a few more.
Frustrations
1. AP Euro- AP Test Friday! What more do I need to say?
2. People- Some people have been driving me nuts lately. Once again, I don't think it is anyone that reads my blog.
3. Soccer- Ok I'm not frustrated at all with this one. I just wanted to take the opportunity to tell everybody about my two awesome goals on Saturday. One was a header and the other was off a corner kick and I was able to get my leg in front of it.
4. Eagle- I thought I was a lot closer than I really was. I could have it ready by tomorrow if I tried EXTREMELY hard, but I am not so sure that is going to happen even though I plan to work on it a lot tomorrow.
5. School Overall- My grades look the worst they have in a long time. This could be because I missed 3 days last week, but I don't think that is all.
6. iPod Game (Peggle)- K this is extremely dumb to be frustrated over and I'm not too frustrated over it, but the stupid game won't let play as far as I have gotten on it. Fun game though. (I know that was way dumb and you are probably thinking I'm the dumbest person on the planet right now but I don't care!)
7. Transportation- Only 1 month 21 days until I turn 16. 2 months 2 days until I'm done with my driving with an instructor.
8. Utah Jazz- They got their butts handed to them on a platter a week ago tomorrow. The Lakers (who they are playing right now) are also the team that I think they play the worst against in the league. Plus, I consider myself a pretty decently dedicated fan. (Of course, I'm nothing close to you and BYU Josh. ;) )
9. iTunes- The dumb iTunes Store doesn't have Albi the Racist Dragon on it! What kind of rip off is this thing?!

Mistakes
K so most of you have heard the story about how I managed to bust my phone at lunch one day. But that is only the start of some of the dumb mistakes I have made recently.
1. The phone- K quick recap. I'm standing behind Sean while he is eating and I'm talking to somebody while tossing my phone up and down like I always do. I got a little too distracted and managed to miss my phone once. Went for the saving grab as it plummeted straight at the ground. I was able to knock it but not grab it. Unfortunately, I some how knocked it right into Sean's pudding. He was glad that it took off all of his whipped cream, but my poor little phone didn't even manage to make it to my next class before dying. :'(
2. The headphone- So this one happened today and is eerily similar to the other one. I was standing in my kitchen helping prepare dinner by making the gravy. I was rocking out to a few of the new songs that I obtained over the weekend when my mom said something to me. I couldn't hear her so I plucked out my headphone and asked what. Plop! My headphone landed right in the gravy and I just started laughing because it reminded me of Experience #1. I wiped it off and checked to see if it worked... Nope. Now I will just have to live with music in one ear for a while.
3. The lunch- I was sick for the first 4 days of last week (counting Sunday). I came back to school on Thursday and Sam said he was going to go pick up some grub. Of course, he told me what he was going to get but it didn't seem to click in my mind that I might not feel great after eating it. Thats why I ate cookies and milk while still feeling a little sick and it might have affected my performance in my game that night. :0
4. Dreams- So this wasn't technically a mistake but they were definitely weird. This one would take way too long to explain so if you want more info just ask and I'm sure I can come up with a story that will blow your socks off.
5. Taken offense- I know this may sound absurd, but I consider this a mistake on my part. I believe that he shouldn't have said anything, but I agree with Elder Bednar when he talked about how we choose whether or not to take offense at things people say. I tend to make the wrong decision a lot, but this one stuck out in my mind. I feel like I need to protect the (somewhat) innocent still though so I shall not reveal his name, but it isn't any of you that read my blog at least somewhat regularly.
Ok so the only ones that were really decent were 1-3 and 3 was only ok. But you have to admit that #2 was pretty funny.

Replacement
So I have another post all prepared, but it had a lot of angry thoughts in it so I'm not going to post it (for the moment at least) in order to protect the innocent. Today was a good day besides what I just talked about. I scored in my soccer game, but it was amazingly lucky. I was able to get some stuff done I needed to, but I have still allowed this one thing get to my head. It seriously ruined my day. It would've been a good day if this hadn't happened, and now people are suggesting the extremes (which if things don't get better I might actually resort to) that could make things turn out really bad. If some people would think about what they do or care enough about what other people are going to feel about it, then none of this would've happened. Today would've been a wonderful day if it wasn't for this, but I've allowed this thing to get to my head and it's affecting the way that I act around and treat other people. Something must be done about my problem soon or else bad things may take place.
Sorry I can't really tell any of you what my problem is because it is extremely personal and something that none of you would really be able to understand right now. I truly am sorry and you would understand why I felt the way I do if you saw the other post, but I have to do my best to protect the innocent.

Short Term Goals
So I have come up with a few of short term goals recently. Here they are:
1. Make Jr. Class Vice Pres.- Most of you know that I ran in jr. high and was pretty sure I was going to make SBO Vice Pres. and it hit me pretty hard when I didn't so I really need to win this time.
2. Get back on to Josh's normal blog check list- I am off this yet Morganne and Ali (who haven't posted for longer than me) are still on there. For some reason that doesn't make sense to me.
3. Get at least a 3 on the AP Euro Test- I don't care about anything higher. To tell you the truth, with as little I have worked for that class I probably don't deserve a 3 even.
4. Jump in to the back of a moving truck w/o them noticing- Matt we shall succeed in this and our garbage can plan. (The problem is, how do we get back from where ever they take us?)
5. Kick some major soccer butt- I plan to nail at least one goal this season and hopefully lots more than that.
6. A major expansion of my iTunes library- so this probably means taking songs from Matt, Tanner, Josh, Sam, and anyone else willing to help me in my quest.
7. Figure out what happens in the next part of my story- this one is pretty self-explanatory.
Well those are the only ones I've thought of so far and, as I told you all yesterday, I haven't been getting very much sleep lately so I better head to bed.

Another Post! (and a better story)
I know most of you probably haven't read my last few posts. But I think that I need to keep this going for now. School, drama, and what not has been taking up my time, but the other day in English I started a story that I think I would like to keep going.
Greg stumbled out of his tent as the morning sun peeked out from behind the trees. He quickly scoped the area around him to make sure that nothing had disturbed camp and took the final shift of keeping guard. He slowly scanned the trees trying to sense any sign of danger. After seeing nothing he leaned back and slowly drifted into oblivion...
He was on the ship, the Ondre, which was pulling slowly out of San Francisco Bay. He looked back and saw his wife standing on the dock, crying, and waving her white handkerchief. He knew he was going to be gone for a while, but promised he would be back as soon as he could. The ship departed and he turned his back on his home, his wife, and his soon-to-be son. He was on his way to the coast of India where he was sent by his company to set up a branch... Now he was looking out over the rail with stomach wrenching and his hands gripping the bar as the ship fought against a storm. Next thing he knew the siren went off and the crew was yelling abandon ship. The passengers surged to the life boats and Greg was one of the last people to get in before the ship went under the water. He rowed with the others until they finally found a small piece of land where they landed and made camp...
An eerie screeching noise woke him up from his dream. He looked around him. He was still on the same island that he his lifeboat had come across two years ago. He still had many of the passengers with him, but a few were gone. Most of it happened that first night on the island when they were attacked...

Busy, Busy, Busy
K so my life has been extremely busy lately. I got a huge dose of high school drama the last week or so and it came just in time to be paired with school elections. (I'm running for Jr. Vice President) So I've been extremely busy and the blog just kept moving down on my list of priorities. I've had a little bit of time, but I've just used that to take naps because with all the happenings in my life I've been averaging about 4 1/2 to 5 hours of sleep each night. Through it all though I believe I have gotten through with nearly minimal complaining and venting though. I thought I was doing good until a friend (not to be named) kinda got mad at me today and we had a heated exchange of words (ok I guess they were text messages) that ended up in both of us leaving without the satisfaction that we were looking for. The good news is though that I made primary elections on Friday, and I hope to be finding more sleep soon.

Sorry about the lack of posts I have been swamped lately. Anyway, Kelsey tagged me with so here it goes.
10 years ago I was 5 years old going to first grade. I had Mrs. She was a very angry old lady and I got her the last year that she taught. We had a student teacher the 2nd half of the year. I hated doing these little eskimo diagram things we did back then.
*5 things to do on my list today*
1. Sit at home doing homework
2. Make journals for trek
3. Talk to an extremely cute girl
4. Think about how I am going to do horrible in some of my classes this term
5. Eat pizza
*5 snacks I enjoy*
1. Popcorn
2. Cookie dough ice cream
3. Snickers
4. Suckers
5. Cheesecake
What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionare?
Well I have already written about this today. I would start out by buying an extremely nice car, like a Lambourghini Revolutón. Then I would by a ginormous house with a slide that I could go down from my room to my kitchen. Once in my kitchen I would have a tongue scanner that would tell what the perfect meal choice would be for the day. My maid would then fix it for me and I would be able to party with all of my celebrity friends in the pool and jacuzzi sitting out back.
*5 places I have lived*
1. Farmington, Utah
2. I guess my cabin at Bear Lake
3. Farmington, Utah
4. Farmington, Utah
5. um... I think I've lived in Farmington, Utah before (have I said that yet?)
*5 Jobs I have had*
1. Bangerters Farm :'(
2. Raking leaves
3. I have run a lemonade stand before
4. Babysitting
5. Nothing else really
*5 things you don't know about me*
1. I have a birthmark on my left eye (yes on my eyeball)
2. I am WAY afraid of heights
3. I consider myself shy even though most other people don't
4. I have a lot less self confidence then most people can tell
5. I almost died at 2 weeks old.

New Experiences
New experiences are... interesting. Some of them are exciting to have and some of them you feel like you can live without. I have experienced both in an extremely short amount of time. So here are some of my experiences.
- High school drama- Does anybody want it? No. Does almost everyone end up involved in it? Yes. I just had a big dosage of it and it was more drama than I need for the rest of my life.
- ............- This is a very important one and there are very few people that will understand what this one is. It was a great experience and one I would like to be able to have again and again.
- Teamless- You all know that I love playing soccer. I have just found myself teamless (most likely) for the spring season. 8 of the 11 players on my team that go to Davis made the high school team so that makes things tough on me... maybe I should have tried out after all.
- Stuffed puffin shopping- Those things are hard to find! ;)
- Codenames- This isn't exactly a new experience, but it is the first time I have experienced it to this degree. Marmolet, falcon, swan, goose, etc. (Idk whats with the bird theme)
There are more but I am too lazy to put them down so I hope you enjoyed reading about these.

- Sometimes I feel like people look up to me a lot more than they should or they do for the wrong reasons
- I don't think there are too many people that look up to me
- I am so glad that the snow has been melting(it has pretty much everywhere but my yard)
- Cheese sauce!
- Sometimes I think curse words in my head and I beat myself up about it later
- I am running out of ideas
- I am kinda tired right now
- Tomorrow is Friday!
- I think internet quizes are really funny
- My mom had shots today
- Yesterday I realized how close my dad was to dying from skin cancer
- Skin cancer sucks

- Some people have confused me a lot lately
- I don't understand some of those people anymore
- I am always wondering why people hang out with me

- I try to figure out what is going on inside another person's head before I show them what I am thinking
- I used to act like I was confused a lot when I wasn't
- I hate people that show off
- . . . it's kinda bad that I said that
- Especially because I can turn into a show off
- That mainly happens when there are cute girls around though

My Story(Part 5)
Daxton and Parker got out of the car and walked timidly to the front door. Daxton rang the doorbell and a few seconds later they heard the shuffle of feet and the door opened. Kim stood there with the door open and beckoned them in. Looking around Daxton's thoughts started rushing through his head like a river just before a waterfall. 'So this is what it feels like to hang out with the girl you like... Wow, this is a really nice house... Ali looks really cute tonight... I wonder what we are going to do... What's Parker thinking right now?... What's Kim thinking right now?... Man, why didn't I ever talk to girls in jr. high?' As these thoughts raced through Daxton's head he introduced Parker to Kim and Kim, in turn, introduced Daxton and Parker to her dad. Then, they went to the basement to wait for Camille to come.
Downstairs, Daxton and Parker saw the pool table and quickly racked up the pool balls. They invited Kim to play, but she politely declined and sat on the back of the couch. After a couple very evenly matched games, they started wondering what was taking Camille so long and Kim text her to see if she would be coming soon. Shortly afterward, Camille showed up and they all decided they should order a pizza. While they were waiting for the pizza they went upstairs and picked out a movie to watch. Hitch was the movie decided on and they filed down the stairs with the movie. 'I watched this movie last night at my house,' Daxton thought as he sat down. Lines from the movie wafted through the air. The night went on with no significant events, but Daxton thought it was tons of fun spending time with his new friends. He need to hang out with them more often.

My Story(Part 4)
Several days went by and Daxton was overjoyed with how things were going at school. He had just walked out of math and was talking to his new friend Camille as they walked down the hall.
"So do you have any plans for this Friday?" Camille asked Daxton.
"Not that I can think of," Daxton replied.
"Oh sweet, well do you want to come hang out with me and Kim then?"
"That sounds great I will have to check though."
Ecstatic about this new development in his recently made friendships, Daxton plodded down the hall to his next class. Later in English, Daxton was talking with Kim and Camille about their plans for the weekend. They decided to all go over to Kim's house Friday night even though the time would have to be determined later because Camille's family was going out to dinner. Camille and Daxton exchanged cell numbers right as the class was about to end. Before everyone left, though, Daxton made sure he got Kim's cell number [for more than one reason ;)].
Friday finally rolled around after the days had dragged on. While Daxton was waiting to go to Kim's he headed over to his friend Parker's house. Daxton told Parker his plans for the night and right as he was finishing summing up his plan for the next day his phone "had a seizure". His phone vibrated so violently that it wouldn't have been too surprising to see it burst into flames and then blow up completely everytime someone text or called him. He looked down at his phone; the text was from Kim. 'Hey camille is still at dinner but she will be done soon. when can you come over?'
'Anytime you want. Just tell me whenever but i have to find a ride still.' Daxton's fingers speedily typed in.
'Ok well you can come over pretty soon. are you bringing over any friends?'
'Is that ok? If it is then my friend Parker might come with me'
'Oh yeah that would be great!'
'Alright cya in a bit then.'
Daxton hurriedly presented the idea to Parker, and Parker relayed the information to his brother and dad. Reluctantly, Parker's dad agreed to let him go (without knowing they were going to a girl's house). Parker's brother had the obligation of watching the younger siblings thrust upon him and Parker's dad took an extremely hyped Daxton and a somewhat excited Parker to Kim's house. . . TBC

Readers' Choice(Answers)
So here are the answers to the (very few) questions that I got asked in comments for my last post.
When are you going to finish your story?
I want to finish my story, but it probably won't happen in a couple of posts. I will most likely add to it pretty soon, but I am guessing my life isn't ending too soon and the section I am writing about probably won't end too quick either.
Do you mind having a girl you have never met comment on your blog?
Not one bit! I would like to get as much input as possible and maybe you can help catch up on the slack from the people that I have met.
The "important" one: BYU or Utah?
I have debated over this before and when I was little I liked BYU because most of my friends liked BYU. Then, I kinda decided I wanted to get in good with my brother-in-law and switched sides to Utah. After that I realized that I didn't really care what went on between them. I just know I would rather go to a college back east like UNC.
What is your favorite part about high school so far?
My favorite part about high school so far is definitely all the new friends I have made. That was the hardest thing for me at first because, as I am sure you have all heard me complain about, most of my friends go to Davis, but it is still the best thing by far.
What are you more for: dating or driving?
This is a very tough question. I would say dating, but then most of my friends would say I already have done that by going to the Christmas Dance. I would also have to think about how I would get to and from dates. So I have to go with driving because I am sick and tired of planning around another person's schedule just to get a ride.
If you were deserted on an island, and you had everything that you needed to survive, what 3 things would you want to have?
Ok so this is going to be kinda religious and I don't know if one the things counts but... I am going to say I would bring my scriptures, a good friend (Jamie would be counted in this category), and plenty of duct tape.
When are we going to go snowboarding??
This is a question that I don't think I have an answer to. Anytime that would work for you would probably work for me. I don't have anything going on, really, and I need to learn to snowboard so this is kinda up to you, Ali.

Readers' Choice
K so I liked that idea that Josh did for his last post, and since I have copied him so many times, I decided what would it hurt to do it once more? So any questions or anything like that, that you want me to answer just put them in a comment and I will do my best to answer them unless they are extremely personal or something. Maybe some of you will comment for once... or maybe none you ever really read my blog so this doesn't really matter. Please comment, if you can't tell, it really bugs me that none of you comment on mine, but everybody else gets comments on their blogs.

Things You Will Never Hear Come From My Lips
I, like Ali, got the survey about the things you will never say to people you know. I never thought of using it on my blog though until I saw Ali do it and I thought that it would be a nice little break from my story. Oh, and you all know I can be stubborn so don't try to get who these are to out of me because chances are that I won't tell. There are a few that I am 100% sure I won't tell any of you. I am sure you will all be able to guess who these are to though.
To Mr./Ms. Unknown
1. Who do you think you are? You can think what you want, but assume anything. I bet you haven't ever heard the saying about what happens when you assume things.
2. What happened? Why don't we ever hang out anymore? I don't know if it is just me thinking this, but you seem to have just dropped out of my life and I want you back in it.
3. Tell me if I ever get as bad as them because if I do then I need to get back to being myself.
4. I wish I had told you so much more about me. Why do I still feel like I can't talk to you even though I still want to?
5. I'm sorry that I kinda pried some information from you, but I understand everything so much better now. I feel like things will just get better between us now.
6. We NEVER see each other anymore. We need to hang out, talk, or at least do something. You are so close, but for some reason it seems like you are so much farther away than before.
7. There is a time to trash talk and there is a time to shut up. I will tell you when you are quite aways past the point to stop, but don't make me threaten you again to keep you quiet.
8. Cheese sauce!
9. We are almost complete opposites in every way, but you know I still love you. No matter what you think about the way I act, it isn't to try to hurt you. I am just trying to be me, but the more I act like myself, the more you get mad at me.
10. Your stupid pudding!
11. You should really just keep your mouth shut. I know you don't mean any harm and I am not going to tell you to be quiet, but if you haven't noticed that it bugs me whenever you say that, then you are an idiot.
12. I have wanted to go snowboarding for so long. Now, I get to go with you. I wouldn't want it any other way.
13. You quit and now I hardly ever see you. Call me, get somone else to call me, or whatever else you want. I need to keep all of you in my life still though.
14. I'm sorry that it's been so long since we have talked. I will call you, but I need to get your number again first.
15. You seem to not be way happy with the way things went last summer. I feel like it's my fault. Please, let me make up to you some how. I will call you, go see you, or whatever you need from me so that you will forgive me.
16. You are so close to me and you do so much for me. I don't know how I could go on w/o you, but I need to thank you more.
17. Why didn't I realize before that we were just like each other? What was my problem for the last few years?
18. He is there and I am sure he is waiting for you. If you feel the need, then go. Don't worry, we will all understand; we just want to make you happy. Do whatever you feel is right and I will support you the whole way. That's what friends are for.
19. I know you are there for me, but don't leave when I come to you. Don't hurt me because I won't be the one who pays in the end.
20. I will call you and we can all hang out. You can invite a bunch of your Davis friends and I will bring my Viewmont friends. I just need to talk to you again.

My Story(Part 3)
Sorry to all of you who aren't caught up on my story yet because I have been posting sections pretty fast, but when you are feeling the creative juices flowin you just have to write... Even though this doesn't take much creativity because as I'm sure you have all noticed, this is the story of my life.
"This is the day," Daxton thought as he scrubbed his hair in the shower. "Today I will make some new friends. I just have to think of a way to do it without them thinking I am the biggest freak ever." He quickly got dressed, ran downstairs, grabbed his backpack and some toast, and bye to his mom just in time to meet Devan on his way to the bus. They trotted down the hill talking about the day before and Daxton promised himself that he would push himself to make friends today. The conversation with his parents had been Monday night and it was already Wednesday morning. If he didn't find friends in the next three days he was planning on giving up on Kingston.
"Daxton!" Mr. Hepler yelled, causing Daxton to jump out of his seat. This was the third day in a row he had fallen asleep in math. Daxton had never had any trouble with math so he didn't really see how it was bad for him to fall asleep, especially since they were still doing review from the year before. Daxton had been the unlucky kid who got stuck in the middle of all the nerdy kids. Nervously, he looked to his left at Lester, the kid who everyone thought was a lot smarter than he was because he liked to show it off, (you all know who I am talking about) and asked him what the question was. He soon got the longest explanation of his life on the pythagorean theorem and right triangles even though the question was about circles. He quickly figured out the answer on his own and told Mr. Hepler. "That's correct, Daxton. Well done."
As Daxton left class he noticed a girl a few steps ahead of him wearing a jacket showing that she was on the high school soccer team. Thinking back, he realized that she was in his math, English, and biology classes. He went up to her and casually asked her a question about being on the soccer team. This sparked a conversation when she found out that Daxton played soccer too. Daxton quickly found out that her name was Camille, but wasn't able to learn much more than that in the short exchange. Daxton's day was made so much better by him even trying to make friends with Camille and he quickly felt like this was more of the school he wanted to be at.
The next day in English, Daxton saw Camille sitting at a table. None of her friends had come into the class yet and he saw the window of opportunity. He walked over there, totally nervous but trying to act laid-back, and asked her if it was alright if he sat by her. To his enormous relief she said he could and when her friends came in, he was quickly introduced to them. These friends included Natalie, Hayley, and Kim. Daxton took a quick note in the back of his head of how cute he thought Kim was and tried to act normal while learning more about his new acquaintances. He did not think that he could consider them friends yet, but in the back of his head he secretly hoped that they thought he was their friend.
Daxton, encouraged by this first success, started attempting to make more new friends at school. He made a couple, but by far the ones that stood out to him the most were Camille and Kim.

My Story(Part 2)
Daxton got home from school that day and realized he was rather depressed. He knew he had to do something about his social situation or he was going to be really disappointed in himself and he wasn't sure if things would be any better at Welch than they were at Kingston. His top priority this year had been to make new friends. So far, he had not succeeded. In fact, he hadn't even come close to succeeding.
Daxton called up his friend Calvin, he had to get his mind off this situation or tell somebody besides Devan how he felt. Daxton quickly slipped on his shoes and slid out the door to take the quick jog down his hill. Calvin didn't live very far away, it would only take him a few seconds to get to his house. It was also a nice, sunny day and when Daxton did any physical activity (even though he isn't particularly fond of running) he could get his mind off everything else. When he got to Calvin's he wasn't surprised at all to see Devan and Kip there already. They had all been friends since they were tiny. The fact that they had all stayed so close seemed like an amazing feat to Daxton because he looked at all of his older siblings, whose friends from around the neighborhood had all gone their seperate ways. The most spectacular thing about this group of friends was how they all supported each other and the understanding that a person felt if they were a part of this group. They were completely honest with each other and this made them like brothers; Devan even called Daxton's mom, mom sometimes. (When I say brothers I mean the way black people use it because I think it is more meaningful that way.)
Daxton and his friends quickly got caught up in some intense games of Guitar Hero (which Daxton was winning by the way... jk :D) Daxton was taking a sip from his bottle of water when Kip mentioned some girl named LaFonda, who had apparently started hitting on him during lunch earlier that day. This mentioning was so sudden and unexpected that Daxton started choking on his water. (That takes real talent.) He ended up spewing his water all down the back of Calvin's shirt and darting out of the room to avoid Calvin's wrath. When Daxton finally came back into the room they continued this conversation, but the subject had changed to more of the new girls they had met or seen at their new high school. Daxton, who couldn't be left out of the conversation when it came to one of his favorite topics, quickly let everyone know what he thought about all the girls he had seen because he had no way to contribute by talking about girls he had met. He thought back to the summer...
Daxton was hanging with some of his favorite friends that were going to go to Welch. Tyler and Hal had become some his close friends and he loved having them on his soccer team. (That is until 'Tyler' quit! (angry face)) Tyler had planned a day when Hal, Daxton, and he could get together and have a good time playing soccer with a few of their friends. There were about 5 other people besides Tyler, Hal, and Daxton coming. All of them were going to Welch besides Daxton who, of course, defended his school after every insult he heard them come up with. Daxton had made so many friends as a 9th grader at Knoxville Jr. (mainly because he had been extremely shy in 7th and 8th grade.) and his parents had finally realized he knew that there were 2 genders in the human species. Well at this time Daxton was playing with one of the girls that he considered to be extremely attractive and they had become decent friends during the last semester of the school year. Her name was Bonnie (no, this isn't the person most of you guys are probably thinking it is just so you know.) and Daxton was having such a great time playing one of his favorite sports with a great group of friends.
Then realization hit Daxton. This is why I am so depressed. I felt like I became a pretty popular kid that had lots of friends in jr. high. I just need to do what I did in 9th grade. Just be myself and everything will work out. I will have to push myself out of my comfort zone though.

My Story
Here is my story and please be honest with how you like it for as far as I get. Wow, that last sentence doesn't seem like it makes sense. So yeah, be about as critical as I was on your story Josh, but you might want to wait for a little bit to see where this is going.
"Daxton Trapesly?" The plump sub called out. Nobody answers. "Daxton Trapesly, are you here?" she calls out again.
Quickly, Devan, elbowed Daxton in the side to wake him up from his deep sleep and yelled, "Here!" to cover for his best friend, who was nodding off again in his seat.
Daxton and Devan were extremely close and they could not be split apart. They always knew what the other was thinking before it had been said out loud. They might as well have been twins with their tight relationship. They didn't look a thing alike and they didn't really act the same either, but they got along like ice cream and hot fudge. Daxton, the shorter of the two, was the kind of kid who got along with most people, but didn't really show anyone the true him until he knew them decently well. Devan was kind of like that, but he made less of an effort to go out and make friends. Daxton wasn't extremely outgoing, but Devan was almost shy.
Devan knew what Daxton had been going through lately, the first few weeks in high school had been killing him. Daxton had been a pretty well liked kid at his jr. high and going to a different high school than most of your friends didn't seem that bad, but it had been harder on him than any of his other friends for these first two weeks of school. Daxton was even considering transferring to Welch High because he believed he would have an easier time socially over there. He had been losing a lot of sleep over this matter and had broken down a couple times while talking it over with his parents.
"Why don't you just change schools, Daxton?" his mom asked.
"Mom, it's really not as simple as it sounds," Daxton replied.
"Just change if you aren't liking your high school. I know the principal of Welch, I will call him tonight."
"Ok, call him. I will stay at Kingston for another week and if i still don't like it then I am transferring."
"It would be easier if we just got it over with now, Daxton. Why not just finish it up? That way you could start making your new friends tomorrow."
"Mom! I don't feel like it is right. I want to switch to be with most of my friends, but most of my close friends are going to Kingston. I want to stay with them, but I am not liking high school in the least right now."
"Ok, but I am going to call Mr. Linger right now to see if you will able to..."
Devan recalled Daxton's account of this conversation that had seemed to gone on for eternity last night. Devan didn't see what Daxton thought was so bad about Kingston, but Daxton just wasn't acting like himself lately. Something had made him start acting different and he didn't know what it was. He decided it was best to let Daxton catch up on a little bit of shut-eye and went on daydreaming.
Daxton jumped out of his seat. He did not know how he got to biology. His friend Devan was sitting right next to him staring at Monica Hendricks sitting kitty corner to him. He had on an I'm-in-heaven face and Daxton knew it would not be good to disturb him. He then re-evaluated his problem of feeling friendless. 'If only I was more outgoing...' he thought.

Befuddlement
Oh! That was a nice word I used for the title if I do say so myself. Well this isn't my story; it is more like me rambling on about the things that have gotten me confused lately without telling you everything about them just so you can wonder and be befuddled just like me. :D
That dream I posted about a little while ago... still confused by it. It really isn't that confusing, but Matt will understand what I mean when I say it kinda is. He alone is the person I have told and just so you know Matt if anyone else finds out, I know who told them. Bwah haha. Ok so now that the random evil laughter is out of the way I will get on with being confused. So that dream though, it was extremely confusing and made me rather depressed for a while. Then there was something that one of my friends (nobody that reads this blog) said at lunch a couple days ago and I was just like, "Do you really think thats the way I am?" Then, there were a couple things I have noticed or observed and they have made me even more confused, but I don't really feel like telling you anymore because then I would be giving too much away and some people might not be happy with me, so it's better this way. Hopefully I confused you, but I am sure you aren't as befuddled as me.

Short One
So I am feeling like taking yet another idea from Josh, but I am not feeling too creative at the moment so I think I will pass for the moment. Keep checking my blog though and you will see a story pop up soon enough. Oh and COMMENT!

Tribute to a Hero

"We thank thee oh God for a prophet, to guide us in these latter-days"
Earlier today, at approximately 7 o' clock, one of my heroes died. This man, President Hinckley, was the only prophet of the church I have really come to know. He was one of those men who could connect to you no matter who you were, and even though he was old, he always made everybody laugh. He was a devout follower of the Lord and a man I have grown to love. I know that he is in a better place, though, and he is once again with his beloved wife. This man was hero to me because of the way he lived his life and improved those of everyone around him. I had a really cool experience today when I found out he had died. I was totally shocked; it all seemed so sudden. I was at a stake priesthood meeting and our stake president, Pres. McKenna, announced that Pres. Hinckley had passed away peacefully. He then announced that we would be singing "We Thank Thee, Oh God, For a Prophet" The moment we started singing those wondrous words my eyes started tearing up. I couldn't help but to consider all the things I had learned from that man. Singing that song, with all those priesthood holders, after this was one of the times I have felt the spirit the strongest in my life. It was the most amazing feeling. I was crying, but I wasn't really just crying because I was sad. Then the line hit me, "...thus on to eternal perfection, the honest and faithful will go..." just imagine all that our prophet did to deserve his eternal perfection. I would say that he must have had a grand welcoming into heaven tonight. I would just like to conclude by bearing my testimony about this wonderful leader and the church that he guided. I know that he was chosen by God to lead the church. I know that the church he led was the only true church. I am thankful that I was born into a family that has the gospel and I wish that everyone had it in their lives. I am thankful for Pres. Hinckley's leadership and the divine inspiration in guiding the church. I would like to end by saying, I thank thee, oh God, for a prophet, to guide me in these latter-days.

Feel Bad
So if you are reading this you need to make sure you read my post below because I did it a couple minutes before. I am only doing another one because I felt bad for not really saying anything and I would be extremely confused if I had read the last one. So today I am not really feeling like I can write too much, so I will just put some random thoughts and quotes down.
"Total absence of humor renders life impossible."

"Laugh at yourself first, before anyone else can."
Elsa Maxwell
"The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection."
Thomas Paine
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."
Leo Buscaglia
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”
Theodor Seuss Geisel
"Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength."
Eric Hoffer
"Perseverance is a great element of success. If you only knock long enough and loud enough at the gate, you are sure to wake up somebody."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"I smell like tanning and cookies."
Jamie Parry
"Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear."
Mark Twain
"When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity."
Albert Einstein
"Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film."
Anonymous
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?
Can a blind person feel blue?
How can a house burn up when it burns down?
If a word in a dictionary is misspelled, howwould you know?
Why is the alphabet in that order?
How does skating on thin ice get you into hot water?
Should crematoriums give discounts forthose who died in fires?
If the #2 pencil the most popular, why is it still #2?
So I hope you liked these. I really like most of them and I had a few more, but I got tired of putting them on here so there you go.

Very Weird Dream
So I had this really weird dream last night that I am dying to tell people about. The only problem is that I don't feel too comfortable telling more than 1 or 2 people... I didn't really like the dream and it is making me go crazy (more than usual) I can't stop thinking about it (1) because it was so realistic and (2) I would absolutely hate some people if this happened to me in real life. But if you come up to me and ask me about it, don't be surprised if I can't tell you about it because there are really only a couple people that I feel like I can tell. Sorry, this was a really weird thing to post because I didn't really tell you anything, but yeah I really don't care.

New Semester
Today was the first day of the new semester and I was thinking that it would be a good day to recap my highlights and lowlights(I guess that is what they are called...) from my first semester as a sophomore.
Highlights
1. New Friends!- I loved making all the new friends I have this year. They have made the school year so much fun so far. (I guess this isn't exactly an event, but oh well.)
2. The Christmas Dance- Thank you Ali for taking me to the dance. I had a wonderful weekend and you made it amazing! :)
The whole new friend thing takes up so many things I could put for a #3 that I don't see the point in putting one.
Lowlights
1. Leaving Friends- This year I think I had to leave more friends because they went to Davis than I have made. I have always been ready to come back to school at the end of summer, but this year I realized I wouldn't have most of my friends and that made it hard to come back to school after the best summer of my life. (Once again, not an event.)
2. The First 2 Weeks of School- K so the first 2 weeks of this school year were the longest 2 weeks in my life. I was extremely depressed, felt like a loser, didn't have very many friends at school, and was considering transferring to Davis. Those 2 weeks were horrible.
3. AP Euro- So I like Mr. Clark because I think he is way funny, but his class is horrible! There is so much homework in there and it never seems to end.
So I will say that even though I have definitely had some of my lowest lows, the good things from this year outweigh the bad things by a long shot.
On a different note, I thought that everyone understood that I wanted comments on my blog, but apparently only a few people got the hint. Either that or I only have like 2 people reading my blog. So here I go, I really am going to put something about commenting in every one of my posts and comments from here on until people start commenting on my blog.

This Was Going to Be a Venting Post...
So I felt like venting today... which I almost did and still might. But anyway, first of all I would like to let you all know that I am going to put something in everyone of my posts (and probably everyone of my comments on your blog if you have one) that has to do with the lack of commenting until you all start commenting on my blog. :) It makes me feel so unloved when you don't comment! I kinda wonder if anyone ever reads this... so I decided to vent and sorry if I am not very good at venting like some of you (Morganne told me my venting is like happy venting), but I have my reasons for holding back. I hate feeling like I make my problems other people's problems too, for one. So here we go...
So a lot of you probably don't realize this (or at least I hope you don't think I do this), but I doubt myself a lot. I mean it isn't like I have depression or anything, but a lot of the time I just don't think I am good enough to do something or sometimes I think people are thinking things about me that they aren't, but that doesn't happen as often as it sounds. (I only say that because I know somebody will end up commenting and say something about how that is depression.) K I should really stop justifying myself just move on with venting... K, so you knows those days where it seems like a decent day, but then you come home and you think about the day and it seems like it was pretty bad or that the last week just wasn't your week? Well, that was basically my week and my day in a nutshell. I don't even know what was so bad about it. I just feel like it all went down almost completely opposite of how I wanted. Today, I feel like Jamie because I feel like I should be doing something or I planned to do something, but now I am just saying no. I just wanted to come home lay around and listen to emo music all day... only problem, I don't have emo music. So I had to live with my music and just laying around feeling sorry for myself. Part of the reason I am frustrated is because there are people who I feel have been acting around me or towards me or whatever. So then I come home from school today and realized a lot of things including how some of my friends have a different 'policy' as I call it towards one of my other friends favoring my other friend... or maybe it was they just haven't informed him of the 'policy' yet, but like I said I am feeling negative. So I come home and I get to watch David and Rudy. I just sat there almost the whole time feeling pissed off and confused. So I watched David and Rudy until after 5 when my mom came home... for an hour and a half... and now I get to watch them again. So my mom leaves and the babysitting/ puppysitting frenzy starts again. That wasn't the bad part, but Rudy has more bodily waste stops, aka bathroom breaks, than a diabetic before they realize they are diabetic. (Sorry Josh. That was just a way my mom described it earlier and I thought it fit.) Then, my clumsy butt of a brother has to hurt himself by falling while trying to stand up. This did not help because I am so frustrated and I have a headache.
Basically what I am trying to say is that I am not happy with the way things in my life have been going lately and I plan to change 'em. So I am sorry if I make some people unhappy, but I will not sit here and feel like life sucks because that is not the kind of person I am. (DANG IT! That emo music might have changed my outlook on like.) ;)
So a lot of you probably don't realize this (or at least I hope you don't think I do this), but I doubt myself a lot.

What Sports Car Am I?
I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

So my computer is still working as all of you can see. I just used it to review some of my past posts and I realized I never told you all the answers to my music quiz. So, here they are.
10 Song Quotes
10. So give yourself another chance to change, With tomorrow comes a better day- Temporary by Amber Pacific
9. When the smoke comes in, it will cover this town, but I'll still have you, so I'll say it aloud- Distraction by Angels & Airwaves
8. I've got the sickness you've got the cure- Five Minutes to Midnight by Boys Like Girls
7. I'm sure I can't pretend to be a gentleman- Inside of You by Hoobastank
6. With the face of an angel, girl, you deserve to be treated more than right- Your Life and Mine by Just Surrender
5. With no distractions, I'm gonna treat you right- Island by The Starting Line
4. I would take the stars and save the brightest one for you- Poetically Pathetic by Amber Pacific

2. What difference does this difference in age make, I know how it ends- Sudden Death in Carolina by Brand New
1. Music the great communicator- Can't Stop by Red Hot Chili Peppers
So I was kinda disappointed by the outcome of this because Ali was the only one to comment even though I know some of you read it. I don't really care how well you know the quotes. It is just kinda nice to know you are all reading and this doesn't mean to comment like 11 times Sean!

Miracle Just in Time for Wonderful Wednesday
K so a miracle happened today. I walked into the office to see my mom on the computer with no problems happening! The mouse moved fine and the screen wasn't freezing. So I decided I need to take this opportunity while it lasts. I also realized that I have this Wonderful Wednesday thing from last year and it just happened to be a Wednesday. So I have to do a list.
Top 10 Things I Am Excited For This Year
10. Soccer- I know that you all know that I love to play soccer. What most of you don't know is that I like to play indoor soccer a lot better than outdoor soccer. I feel like I get so much more action. I know that is a little unusual for soccer players, but what can I say? I am an unusual guy.
9. Holidays- This past year wasn't my favorite for holidays and that is the only reason this that holidays aren't a lot higher on the list. I really don't care if this wasn't a great holiday year, I still love 'em.
8. New Semester- Once again I get the chance to make new friends in all my classes because I have only found one class with any of my friends in it. The bad part is that first semester I didn't do so well for the first few weeks. What I mean is I almost became a Dart instead of staying a Viking.
7. Bear Lake- K so this might go along with the whole summer thing, but I love spending time with my family up at the lake. The cabin is my 2nd home and would be a place I would spend a lot more time at if I could. (Which I will be able to because I will be able to drive myself up there) :)
6. Hanging with Friends- K so this was very unspecific. I am especially excited because I have had a few more friends from Davis text/IM/e-mail me about hanging out so I plan to spend time with them even if I have to wait until I get a car. (Excuse me, my license. I already have a car I just can't drive it.)
5. Summer- So hopefully this summer is as good as last year's because I felt like last year was the best summer of my life. The only reason this isn't higher is because I am still not sure how it will go.
4. Learning to Snowboard- I have had a couple people promise they would teach me to snowboard, but it is yet to happen. I hope it happens this year. I will teach myself if nobody else ends up teaching me, but if I don't go with anyone I don't know if I will be willing to go by myself.
3. Driving- I can't wait! I know this fits in with a couple of my others, but I can't wait and it is one of the most exciting things of the year so it had to be included.
2. Girls- Oh the wonderful life of a high school boy. The girls are so cute and this year I will be allowed to take them on dates. As all of you should be able to tell, I have a hard time keeping girls off any list.
1. My 16th birthday!- Oh the joyous privileges I will gain. I will be able to get my license (if I get my eagle on time) and be officially legal to date. The only bad thing I can think about my birthday is that I will be spending it pulling a handcart. I was looking forward to Trek until I found out its on my birthday!
Final comment... I plan to have a great year, but it would help my blog become more interesting if you would all comment and give ideas for what you would like to hear from me. Types of lists, stories, etc. just say what you like best or you want to hear about from me. Thanks.

STUPID COMPUTERS!!!
K so I am sorry that I posted about people not commenting and then I kinda stopped posting. I have a really stupid computer with a mouse that doesn't move up or down anymore so it makes it kinda tough. I can only do this right now because I am on a different computer, but I will get back to posting ASAP. Thanks.
