Daxton and Parker got out of the car and walked timidly to the front door. Daxton rang the doorbell and a few seconds later they heard the shuffle of feet and the door opened. Kim stood there with the door open and beckoned them in. Looking around Daxton's thoughts started rushing through his head like a river just before a waterfall. 'So this is what it feels like to hang out with the girl you like... Wow, this is a really nice house... Ali looks really cute tonight... I wonder what we are going to do... What's Parker thinking right now?... What's Kim thinking right now?... Man, why didn't I ever talk to girls in jr. high?' As these thoughts raced through Daxton's head he introduced Parker to Kim and Kim, in turn, introduced Daxton and Parker to her dad. Then, they went to the basement to wait for Camille to come.
Downstairs, Daxton and Parker saw the pool table and quickly racked up the pool balls. They invited Kim to play, but she politely declined and sat on the back of the couch. After a couple very evenly matched games, they started wondering what was taking Camille so long and Kim text her to see if she would be coming soon. Shortly afterward, Camille showed up and they all decided they should order a pizza. While they were waiting for the pizza they went upstairs and picked out a movie to watch. Hitch was the movie decided on and they filed down the stairs with the movie. 'I watched this movie last night at my house,' Daxton thought as he sat down. Lines from the movie wafted through the air. The night went on with no significant events, but Daxton thought it was tons of fun spending time with his new friends. He need to hang out with them more often.

My Story(Part 4)
Several days went by and Daxton was overjoyed with how things were going at school. He had just walked out of math and was talking to his new friend Camille as they walked down the hall.
"So do you have any plans for this Friday?" Camille asked Daxton.
"Not that I can think of," Daxton replied.
"Oh sweet, well do you want to come hang out with me and Kim then?"
"That sounds great I will have to check though."
Ecstatic about this new development in his recently made friendships, Daxton plodded down the hall to his next class. Later in English, Daxton was talking with Kim and Camille about their plans for the weekend. They decided to all go over to Kim's house Friday night even though the time would have to be determined later because Camille's family was going out to dinner. Camille and Daxton exchanged cell numbers right as the class was about to end. Before everyone left, though, Daxton made sure he got Kim's cell number [for more than one reason ;)].
Friday finally rolled around after the days had dragged on. While Daxton was waiting to go to Kim's he headed over to his friend Parker's house. Daxton told Parker his plans for the night and right as he was finishing summing up his plan for the next day his phone "had a seizure". His phone vibrated so violently that it wouldn't have been too surprising to see it burst into flames and then blow up completely everytime someone text or called him. He looked down at his phone; the text was from Kim. 'Hey camille is still at dinner but she will be done soon. when can you come over?'
'Anytime you want. Just tell me whenever but i have to find a ride still.' Daxton's fingers speedily typed in.
'Ok well you can come over pretty soon. are you bringing over any friends?'
'Is that ok? If it is then my friend Parker might come with me'
'Oh yeah that would be great!'
'Alright cya in a bit then.'
Daxton hurriedly presented the idea to Parker, and Parker relayed the information to his brother and dad. Reluctantly, Parker's dad agreed to let him go (without knowing they were going to a girl's house). Parker's brother had the obligation of watching the younger siblings thrust upon him and Parker's dad took an extremely hyped Daxton and a somewhat excited Parker to Kim's house. . . TBC

Readers' Choice(Answers)
So here are the answers to the (very few) questions that I got asked in comments for my last post.
When are you going to finish your story?
I want to finish my story, but it probably won't happen in a couple of posts. I will most likely add to it pretty soon, but I am guessing my life isn't ending too soon and the section I am writing about probably won't end too quick either.
Do you mind having a girl you have never met comment on your blog?
Not one bit! I would like to get as much input as possible and maybe you can help catch up on the slack from the people that I have met.
The "important" one: BYU or Utah?
I have debated over this before and when I was little I liked BYU because most of my friends liked BYU. Then, I kinda decided I wanted to get in good with my brother-in-law and switched sides to Utah. After that I realized that I didn't really care what went on between them. I just know I would rather go to a college back east like UNC.
What is your favorite part about high school so far?
My favorite part about high school so far is definitely all the new friends I have made. That was the hardest thing for me at first because, as I am sure you have all heard me complain about, most of my friends go to Davis, but it is still the best thing by far.
What are you more for: dating or driving?
This is a very tough question. I would say dating, but then most of my friends would say I already have done that by going to the Christmas Dance. I would also have to think about how I would get to and from dates. So I have to go with driving because I am sick and tired of planning around another person's schedule just to get a ride.
If you were deserted on an island, and you had everything that you needed to survive, what 3 things would you want to have?
Ok so this is going to be kinda religious and I don't know if one the things counts but... I am going to say I would bring my scriptures, a good friend (Jamie would be counted in this category), and plenty of duct tape.
When are we going to go snowboarding??
This is a question that I don't think I have an answer to. Anytime that would work for you would probably work for me. I don't have anything going on, really, and I need to learn to snowboard so this is kinda up to you, Ali.

K so I liked that idea that Josh did for his last post, and since I have copied him so many times, I decided what would it hurt to do it once more? So any questions or anything like that, that you want me to answer just put them in a comment and I will do my best to answer them unless they are extremely personal or something. Maybe some of you will comment for once... or maybe none you ever really read my blog so this doesn't really matter. Please comment, if you can't tell, it really bugs me that none of you comment on mine, but everybody else gets comments on their blogs.

Things You Will Never Hear Come From My Lips
I, like Ali, got the survey about the things you will never say to people you know. I never thought of using it on my blog though until I saw Ali do it and I thought that it would be a nice little break from my story. Oh, and you all know I can be stubborn so don't try to get who these are to out of me because chances are that I won't tell. There are a few that I am 100% sure I won't tell any of you. I am sure you will all be able to guess who these are to though.
To Mr./Ms. Unknown
1. Who do you think you are? You can think what you want, but assume anything. I bet you haven't ever heard the saying about what happens when you assume things.
2. What happened? Why don't we ever hang out anymore? I don't know if it is just me thinking this, but you seem to have just dropped out of my life and I want you back in it.
3. Tell me if I ever get as bad as them because if I do then I need to get back to being myself.
4. I wish I had told you so much more about me. Why do I still feel like I can't talk to you even though I still want to?
5. I'm sorry that I kinda pried some information from you, but I understand everything so much better now. I feel like things will just get better between us now.
6. We NEVER see each other anymore. We need to hang out, talk, or at least do something. You are so close, but for some reason it seems like you are so much farther away than before.
7. There is a time to trash talk and there is a time to shut up. I will tell you when you are quite aways past the point to stop, but don't make me threaten you again to keep you quiet.
8. Cheese sauce!
9. We are almost complete opposites in every way, but you know I still love you. No matter what you think about the way I act, it isn't to try to hurt you. I am just trying to be me, but the more I act like myself, the more you get mad at me.
10. Your stupid pudding!
11. You should really just keep your mouth shut. I know you don't mean any harm and I am not going to tell you to be quiet, but if you haven't noticed that it bugs me whenever you say that, then you are an idiot.
12. I have wanted to go snowboarding for so long. Now, I get to go with you. I wouldn't want it any other way.
13. You quit and now I hardly ever see you. Call me, get somone else to call me, or whatever else you want. I need to keep all of you in my life still though.
14. I'm sorry that it's been so long since we have talked. I will call you, but I need to get your number again first.
15. You seem to not be way happy with the way things went last summer. I feel like it's my fault. Please, let me make up to you some how. I will call you, go see you, or whatever you need from me so that you will forgive me.
16. You are so close to me and you do so much for me. I don't know how I could go on w/o you, but I need to thank you more.
17. Why didn't I realize before that we were just like each other? What was my problem for the last few years?
18. He is there and I am sure he is waiting for you. If you feel the need, then go. Don't worry, we will all understand; we just want to make you happy. Do whatever you feel is right and I will support you the whole way. That's what friends are for.
19. I know you are there for me, but don't leave when I come to you. Don't hurt me because I won't be the one who pays in the end.
20. I will call you and we can all hang out. You can invite a bunch of your Davis friends and I will bring my Viewmont friends. I just need to talk to you again.

My Story(Part 3)
Sorry to all of you who aren't caught up on my story yet because I have been posting sections pretty fast, but when you are feeling the creative juices flowin you just have to write... Even though this doesn't take much creativity because as I'm sure you have all noticed, this is the story of my life.
"This is the day," Daxton thought as he scrubbed his hair in the shower. "Today I will make some new friends. I just have to think of a way to do it without them thinking I am the biggest freak ever." He quickly got dressed, ran downstairs, grabbed his backpack and some toast, and bye to his mom just in time to meet Devan on his way to the bus. They trotted down the hill talking about the day before and Daxton promised himself that he would push himself to make friends today. The conversation with his parents had been Monday night and it was already Wednesday morning. If he didn't find friends in the next three days he was planning on giving up on Kingston.
"Daxton!" Mr. Hepler yelled, causing Daxton to jump out of his seat. This was the third day in a row he had fallen asleep in math. Daxton had never had any trouble with math so he didn't really see how it was bad for him to fall asleep, especially since they were still doing review from the year before. Daxton had been the unlucky kid who got stuck in the middle of all the nerdy kids. Nervously, he looked to his left at Lester, the kid who everyone thought was a lot smarter than he was because he liked to show it off, (you all know who I am talking about) and asked him what the question was. He soon got the longest explanation of his life on the pythagorean theorem and right triangles even though the question was about circles. He quickly figured out the answer on his own and told Mr. Hepler. "That's correct, Daxton. Well done."
As Daxton left class he noticed a girl a few steps ahead of him wearing a jacket showing that she was on the high school soccer team. Thinking back, he realized that she was in his math, English, and biology classes. He went up to her and casually asked her a question about being on the soccer team. This sparked a conversation when she found out that Daxton played soccer too. Daxton quickly found out that her name was Camille, but wasn't able to learn much more than that in the short exchange. Daxton's day was made so much better by him even trying to make friends with Camille and he quickly felt like this was more of the school he wanted to be at.
The next day in English, Daxton saw Camille sitting at a table. None of her friends had come into the class yet and he saw the window of opportunity. He walked over there, totally nervous but trying to act laid-back, and asked her if it was alright if he sat by her. To his enormous relief she said he could and when her friends came in, he was quickly introduced to them. These friends included Natalie, Hayley, and Kim. Daxton took a quick note in the back of his head of how cute he thought Kim was and tried to act normal while learning more about his new acquaintances. He did not think that he could consider them friends yet, but in the back of his head he secretly hoped that they thought he was their friend.
Daxton, encouraged by this first success, started attempting to make more new friends at school. He made a couple, but by far the ones that stood out to him the most were Camille and Kim.

My Story(Part 2)
Daxton got home from school that day and realized he was rather depressed. He knew he had to do something about his social situation or he was going to be really disappointed in himself and he wasn't sure if things would be any better at Welch than they were at Kingston. His top priority this year had been to make new friends. So far, he had not succeeded. In fact, he hadn't even come close to succeeding.
Daxton called up his friend Calvin, he had to get his mind off this situation or tell somebody besides Devan how he felt. Daxton quickly slipped on his shoes and slid out the door to take the quick jog down his hill. Calvin didn't live very far away, it would only take him a few seconds to get to his house. It was also a nice, sunny day and when Daxton did any physical activity (even though he isn't particularly fond of running) he could get his mind off everything else. When he got to Calvin's he wasn't surprised at all to see Devan and Kip there already. They had all been friends since they were tiny. The fact that they had all stayed so close seemed like an amazing feat to Daxton because he looked at all of his older siblings, whose friends from around the neighborhood had all gone their seperate ways. The most spectacular thing about this group of friends was how they all supported each other and the understanding that a person felt if they were a part of this group. They were completely honest with each other and this made them like brothers; Devan even called Daxton's mom, mom sometimes. (When I say brothers I mean the way black people use it because I think it is more meaningful that way.)
Daxton and his friends quickly got caught up in some intense games of Guitar Hero (which Daxton was winning by the way... jk :D) Daxton was taking a sip from his bottle of water when Kip mentioned some girl named LaFonda, who had apparently started hitting on him during lunch earlier that day. This mentioning was so sudden and unexpected that Daxton started choking on his water. (That takes real talent.) He ended up spewing his water all down the back of Calvin's shirt and darting out of the room to avoid Calvin's wrath. When Daxton finally came back into the room they continued this conversation, but the subject had changed to more of the new girls they had met or seen at their new high school. Daxton, who couldn't be left out of the conversation when it came to one of his favorite topics, quickly let everyone know what he thought about all the girls he had seen because he had no way to contribute by talking about girls he had met. He thought back to the summer...
Daxton was hanging with some of his favorite friends that were going to go to Welch. Tyler and Hal had become some his close friends and he loved having them on his soccer team. (That is until 'Tyler' quit! (angry face)) Tyler had planned a day when Hal, Daxton, and he could get together and have a good time playing soccer with a few of their friends. There were about 5 other people besides Tyler, Hal, and Daxton coming. All of them were going to Welch besides Daxton who, of course, defended his school after every insult he heard them come up with. Daxton had made so many friends as a 9th grader at Knoxville Jr. (mainly because he had been extremely shy in 7th and 8th grade.) and his parents had finally realized he knew that there were 2 genders in the human species. Well at this time Daxton was playing with one of the girls that he considered to be extremely attractive and they had become decent friends during the last semester of the school year. Her name was Bonnie (no, this isn't the person most of you guys are probably thinking it is just so you know.) and Daxton was having such a great time playing one of his favorite sports with a great group of friends.
Then realization hit Daxton. This is why I am so depressed. I felt like I became a pretty popular kid that had lots of friends in jr. high. I just need to do what I did in 9th grade. Just be myself and everything will work out. I will have to push myself out of my comfort zone though.

My Story
Here is my story and please be honest with how you like it for as far as I get. Wow, that last sentence doesn't seem like it makes sense. So yeah, be about as critical as I was on your story Josh, but you might want to wait for a little bit to see where this is going.
"Daxton Trapesly?" The plump sub called out. Nobody answers. "Daxton Trapesly, are you here?" she calls out again.
Quickly, Devan, elbowed Daxton in the side to wake him up from his deep sleep and yelled, "Here!" to cover for his best friend, who was nodding off again in his seat.
Daxton and Devan were extremely close and they could not be split apart. They always knew what the other was thinking before it had been said out loud. They might as well have been twins with their tight relationship. They didn't look a thing alike and they didn't really act the same either, but they got along like ice cream and hot fudge. Daxton, the shorter of the two, was the kind of kid who got along with most people, but didn't really show anyone the true him until he knew them decently well. Devan was kind of like that, but he made less of an effort to go out and make friends. Daxton wasn't extremely outgoing, but Devan was almost shy.
Devan knew what Daxton had been going through lately, the first few weeks in high school had been killing him. Daxton had been a pretty well liked kid at his jr. high and going to a different high school than most of your friends didn't seem that bad, but it had been harder on him than any of his other friends for these first two weeks of school. Daxton was even considering transferring to Welch High because he believed he would have an easier time socially over there. He had been losing a lot of sleep over this matter and had broken down a couple times while talking it over with his parents.
"Why don't you just change schools, Daxton?" his mom asked.
"Mom, it's really not as simple as it sounds," Daxton replied.
"Just change if you aren't liking your high school. I know the principal of Welch, I will call him tonight."
"Ok, call him. I will stay at Kingston for another week and if i still don't like it then I am transferring."
"It would be easier if we just got it over with now, Daxton. Why not just finish it up? That way you could start making your new friends tomorrow."
"Mom! I don't feel like it is right. I want to switch to be with most of my friends, but most of my close friends are going to Kingston. I want to stay with them, but I am not liking high school in the least right now."
"Ok, but I am going to call Mr. Linger right now to see if you will able to..."
Devan recalled Daxton's account of this conversation that had seemed to gone on for eternity last night. Devan didn't see what Daxton thought was so bad about Kingston, but Daxton just wasn't acting like himself lately. Something had made him start acting different and he didn't know what it was. He decided it was best to let Daxton catch up on a little bit of shut-eye and went on daydreaming.
Daxton jumped out of his seat. He did not know how he got to biology. His friend Devan was sitting right next to him staring at Monica Hendricks sitting kitty corner to him. He had on an I'm-in-heaven face and Daxton knew it would not be good to disturb him. He then re-evaluated his problem of feeling friendless. 'If only I was more outgoing...' he thought.
